What is the work of Creation?

The work of creation is, God’s making all things of nothing, by the word of His power, in the space of six days, and all very good.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the hosts of them by the breath of His mouth…….For He spake and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

God executes his decrees in the works of 
creation and providence.



Psalm 148:8

What are the decrees of God?

The decrees of God are, His eternal purpose, according to the counsel of his will, whereby, his own glory, he hath foreordained whatsoever comes to pass.

 

The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
