In Christ: A New Creation
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?
2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NKJV)

who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:4 (NKJV)

2 Corinthians 4:5 (NKJV)
“For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.”

For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.
II Corinthians 4:5
Christ is the Message of the Bible and of His people, the Redeemed. The Apostle Paul grasped this truth, as did the other Apostles who were witnesses of Christ, ‘in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.’ It is Christ Who saves. It is Christ Who transforms the life. It is Christ Who upholds to the last hour and Who sweeps His Own into His Eternal Presence. It is Christ Who is Prophet, Priest and King for His people. He is the Only One Who is Worthy of adoration and praise, honor, and proclamation. Any message which falls short of that is not really worthy of our time and effort. ‘Of the making of books there is no end.’ How many of those books are there, religious in nature, which speak of every other subject under the sun except Christ? Paul’s message is the one that matters. ‘We preach…Christ Jesus the Lord.’ Christ is the Message of the Old Testament from Genesis to Malachi. He is the Message of the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation. He was in the beginning, and will be at the end. He is the central Character of history, and the Watershed of humanity. Everything else we say must follow this preeminent Message, ‘Christ Jesus the Lord.’ He has saved us, will preserve us, and bring us into His Presence. Therefore He is our Message, and shall ever be.
Our Precious and Loving Savior,
we rejoice that You are our Message.
We praise You, that You have given unto us,
the high and holy privilege to declare You unto all nations.
