All His Work is Done in Truth

For the word of the LORD is right, And all His work is done in truth.

Psalm 33:4

There is no other work, in heaven, earth or hell like the work of God. Christ is at the very heart of that work and He is Truth. Will God create? Then Christ will be there, for ‘In the beginning was the Word and all things were made by Him.’ Will God redeem? Then Christ will be at the center of that, for He is ‘the Way, the Truth and the Life.’ Will God be both Merciful and Just? Then Christ will be at the center of that, for ‘mercy and truth are met together and righteousness and peace have kissed each other.’ Will God render judgement and cause justice to be done? Then Christ will be at the center of that, sitting upon His Throne, separating the sheep from the goats. All God’s work is done in truth, and all of it is inextricably bound up in the Person of Christ and in His glorious acts.

How heartening is this for us, O people of God?  We live in a world where falsehood seems to prevail, where even the most ‘righteous’ of movements is fraught with misrepresentations and deceptions. Who will bring us truth? Who will cause truth to prevail? Christ will. Be the night never so dark; the morality never so low; the wrong never so strong; the evil never so pernicious; Christ the Living Embodiment of Truth will inevitably prevail, for ‘All of His work is done in truth.’ This is a great thought with which to live today, and every day.  Jesus never fails and ‘All His work is done in Truth.’
