Glorified

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Romans 8:30
God brings His redeemed to glory. What began before the foundation of the world, culminates in the eternal state in the Kingdom of God. We who began life dead in trespasses and sins will finally land safe upon heaven’s shores. He has already begun our glorification in uniting us to Christ. We are new creations. Old things have passed away, are passing away, and shall continue to pass away. We shall ultimately become like Christ when we see Him as He is. We shall eventually have a new body and a new environment. We shall dwell in the place Christ has been preparing for us. This is where we shall land and what we shall be for all eternity. God has not begun redemption without determining the end of it. He already has the end planned in the largest sense and in what affects us most intimately. Therefore, we live in the light of eternity. The end is not yet. We shall shuffle off this mortal coil and be glorified in such a way as to be more like Christ than we have ever been. This is tremendously encouraging. It enables us to endure whatever hardships or trials we face today. We know that this is not the end or even close to it. There is glory that follows.
Great God of Wonders,
we rejoice that You will bring us to glory.
We praise You that, at most,
it will be just a little while longer.
